Escaping the Matrix

There are many ways of looking at life. How you interpret your place in the world depends on what you choose to believe. In order to truly empower your life, it is imperative that you understand your personal and collective beliefs. You are who you are, and you are where you are because of what you believe about yourself. No matter what you are experiencing, your beliefs form the underlying foundation to create these experiences.

So, what are your beliefs? Where do your beliefs come from? Beliefs are usually about power: your power to create. Beliefs can reveal how you manage energy. Beliefs are decisions and agreements that you make about reality; they are an accumulation of invisible inner building blocks, formed from your interpretation of reality that collect over time. It is from this collection that you construct a concept of yourself in relationship to your perceived place in existence.

When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see the real you, or what you have been conditioned to believe is you? The two are so, so different. One is an infinite consciousness capable of being and creating whatever it chooses, the other is an illusion imprisoned by its own perceived and programmed limitations. When you take a good look at your life, you will see the unique creative results of your own internal programming. Beliefs are the thoughts that you hold, most often without question, about yourself and the world at large. These unnoticed thought-forms are birthed in your imagination and stored in your subconscious memory bank. They qualify your experiences in both the inner and outer worlds. Our collective programming and beliefs make up The Matrix.

“There are three types of people:

Designers of the games of life;

Those who miss life playing the game;

And those who have no idea that there are games going on.”

― Aniekee Tochukwu Ezekiel

The Matrix

Personal sovereignty is your inherent birthright. In a very real sense we are each already absolutely sovereign. Personal sovereignty is not something we DO and it is not something we claim, declare or assert. Personal sovereignty cannot be taught, it can only be realised. This realisation breaks you out of the Matrix.

The structure of society is set up with a few people at the very top, pulling the puppet strings of those below them, who are then driving the masses. Much of this top-down control is perpetuated by keeping the masses in the dark about what’s really going on. We’ve been largely content because, the majority of society has their basic needs met. We have accepted the program without question and simply settle for this collective agreement about reality. The attitude of judging each other by our “jobs” is to ignore and deny who we truly are. We have been controlled by our media, our governments, and mega-corporations, and now that more and more people are waking up to that, we are being censored and silenced. For those in control, confusion marketing and misinformation reigns supreme.

No matter what you choose to believe is Truth, most of the information that enters your newsfeed or airwaves is purposely filled with fear and sensation. Fear makes us immobile. Fear tells us that we and our loved ones might be in danger. When people are living in fear, they are much easier to control. We are witnessing how the stories that swirl around us trigger our negativity bias. We tend to dwell on and act on the negative aspects we read and hear on the news and in our online conversations. We don’t hear and see the details that are neutral or positive. As Hara Estroff Marano said in her post, Our Brains Negative Bias, “Your brain is simply built with a greater sensitivity to unpleasant news.” If you do not program your mind, it will be programmed for you.

“The matrix is all about boxes. It exists to keep us living in boxes, and thinking in boxes, and doing the same thing everyone else is doing, all day, for the rest of our lives, because boxes, and patterns, and the status quo make humans easy to control.”

― Shaman Durek

A Brief History of Humanity

The history we are taught in school is not the story of humanity, but rather the story of hierarchical civilisations. Hiding what really happened in the past is essential for the manipulators if they are to hide what is happening now. Our species has been fully human for about 100,000 years, and only the last 10% of that – a wink in time – has been characterised by hierarchy and centralised governance. We are presented with the Hobbesian myth that early humans lived a short and brutal life, and the Darwinist myth that our evolution has been driven by dog-eat-dog competition. In reality, early societies were highly cooperative and egalitarian. Our current civilisation is not a reflection of human nature.

It is rather, a system of domination and exploitation by ruling elites. Nothing is more closed than a closed mind that thinks it’s open, and nothing is more manipulated than a manipulated mind that thinks it’s free. Similar to animals in cages: our behaviour under perpetually stressful conditions and programmed manipulation is not representative of our true nature. Little by little, the media has convinced us, subconsciously, that the world is evil and scary so the goal of life is to get by as comfortably, safely and conveniently as possible. At every turn, we are encouraged (and often forced) to adopt a more comfortable and convenient method of doing things.

We are sedated into a false sense of security and we remain a fraction of who we truly are. The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words. The human race is a herd. Here we are, unique, eternal aspects of consciousness with an infinity of potential, and we have allowed ourselves to become an unthinking, unquestioning blob of conformity and uniformity. A herd. Once we concede to the herd mentality, we can be controlled and directed by a tiny few. And we are. Ultimately, we each have only as much sovereignty as we can demonstrate.

“The world is a collective dream, and we are its dreamers, hence we can change it – if we all cooperate. Nothing is more important than the realisation that we can literally alter “material” reality with our minds, but we have to collaborate or we can achieve nothing. Just as the individual mind can change an individual dream effortlessly, the collective mind can change the collective dream, but only if minds are indeed working collectively, with common, directed intent.”

― Thomas Stark

The Red Pill: Problem-Reaction-Solution

The source of our predicament is the dominator culture itself. Environmental collapse and greed are merely the terminal symptoms of a chronic cancer, a cancer that has plagued us for six thousand years. The reason we are so controlled is not that we don’t have the power to decide our own destiny, it is that we give that power away every minute of our lives. When something happens that we don’t like, we look for someone else to blame. When there is a problem in the world, we say “What are they going to do about it”. At which point they (who have secretly created the problem in the first place) respond to this demand by introducing a ‘solution’ – more centralisation of power and erosion of freedom.

If you want to give more powers to the government, police, security agencies and military, and you want the public to demand you do it, then all you need to do is ensure there is more crime, violence and terrorism so it will be a cinch to achieve your aims. Once the people are in fear of being burgled, mugged or bombed, they will demand that you take their freedom away to protect them from what they have been manipulated to fear. It’s a simple formula: Create the problem, encourage the reaction “something must be done”, and then offer the solution. It is summed up by the Freemason motto ‘Ordo Ab Chao’ – order out of chaos. Create the chaos and then offer the way to restore order. Your order. The masses are then herded and directed by many and various forms of emotional and mental control.

As more and more people awaken, we are seeing through the manipulation tactics. Humanity is demanding a new way. We need a culture based on mutual understanding and cooperation rather than on war and conquest. A culture based on common sense rather than dysfunctional doctrine, on respect for life rather than the pursuit of profit at-all-costs, and on democracy in place of elite rule. After six thousand years of domestication, we sheep must finally cast aside our illusions, recognise our condition, and reclaim our sovereignty as free human beings. We must ask and keep asking the question “Who benefits? – Who benefits from me believing what they are telling me?” Remember that words don’t change the world, only outcomes do. The outcome will invariably tell you who was behind the events that justified or led to the outcome. And you can see the process at an earlier stage by simply asking, when an event happens “What will be the outcome if I believe what they are telling me?”

“Humans are so Funny. So much moralising about words while at the same time thinking it perfectly “moral” to pepper-bomb cities full of people to protect them from violence.”

― David Icke

The Illusion of Normal

Divide and rule is one of the oldest means of mass control – standard practice since at least the Roman Empire. Within societies it works this way: If each social group can be convinced that some other group is the source of its discontent, then the population’s energy will be spent on inter-group struggles. The regime can sit on the sidelines, intervening covertly to stir things up or to guide them in desired directions. In this way most discontent can be neutralised, and force can be reserved for exceptional cases. Programmed factionalism has become the front-line defence – the matrix version of divide and rule.

You cannot escape the matrix unless you know you are in it. Once you learn to recognise the signs and change your perceptions, you will see beyond the deceptions and become free from the control. If we really want to change the system, we need to learn how to come together as humans, moving beyond the ideological structures that have been created to divide us from one another. We are all in this together, and a better world for one is a better world for all. It’s not about winning, nor really even about agreement: it’s about working together in pursuit of our common interests. Having sovereign rights and being sovereign are not the same thing. The way to increase your personal sovereignty is to increase your use of free will. The way to do that is to decide for yourself what actions to take and how you choose to respond in any situation. Personal sovereignty has a high price. It’s called personal responsibility. As you increase your use of free will, you also increase your responsibility for your own actions and reactions. Increase it enough and you won’t be able to blame your parents, your enemies, your friends, your lovers or spouse, society, fate, or the devil for anything having to do with your experience.

“Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am — not stuck in the middle, but hovering above the entire farcical spectrum, weeping as I behold my fellow man’s devotion to political illusion and self-destruction.”

― Robert Higgs

8 Ways to Exit the Matrix

Until we respect our own, and everyone’s, right to be different, to make our own choices, and create our own conscious realities free from imposition and pressure to conform, we will remain in a prison of our own making. Habits, tradition and belief systems will constrict us into mindless automatons who don’t really enjoy life and just follow a predetermined program handed to us by society. As with characters from The Matrix movie, the dawning of reality is an unpleasant one for many. Are you willing to challenge what you believe and wake up to the truth that you create your own reality?

1. Stop giving your power away to authority

From a very young age, we are programmed to doubt ourselves and do only what authority commands us to, even if we don’t feel like doing it. This means, as adults, we don’t trust ourselves, so we allow others to have power over our lives. If we truly want to create a positive change in the world, we need to stop giving power away to family, friends, authorities or society and instead take responsibility for our lives into our own hands so that we can become the creators of our destiny.

2. Detach from materialism

The consumer culture programs us to believe that more stuff means more happiness, and to get more stuff we need more money. The truth is that, while a certain amount of money will solve most basic problems, after that it cannot buy the things we most really need: love, friendship, and creative expression. Choose to invest your precious time and efforts into achieving heart-opening and mind-expanding experiences that money can’t buy.

3. Be mindful of what you put into your body

Is what you’re eating contributing to your health or is it poisoning your physical organism? Is what you’re eating environmentally sustainable, or is it negatively impacting the natural world? These are some important questions sovereign beings consider. Choose to be curious enough about what you choose to put into your mouth, it’s one of the most radical statements you can make.

4. Choose your news sources wisely

Knowledge is power, but we are drowning in an ocean of information. A true seeker of knowledge does not accept anything on face value. Be curious enough to develop a spherical understanding of anything presented to you.

5. Read mind-empowering books

Your attention deserves to be directed to meaningful endeavours rather than hijacked by scary distractions. There is an entire world of wise individuals have distilled their wisdom and experience into the pages of a book. Choose books that expand your mind and provide you with new perspectives to help you better understand yourself and the world around you.

6. Escape the herd mentality

Rather than blindly following the herd, what does your heart say? You are a unique individual with untold gifts and talents to share with the world. Distance yourself from what everyone else is thinking and doing, and pay attention to your inner guidance.

7. Get creative

A great way to deprogram yourself is to express yourself creatively. Your creativity is the path to healing yourself and our precious planet. In this way we can discover new ways of living and being.

8. Develop mindfulness

Learning how to live in the present moment is the most powerful way to break free from your conditioning. By being mindful of the here and now, you’ll be able to respond to whatever happens in each and every moment spontaneously, without being a victim of circumstance.

“The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you’re inside, and you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.”

— Morpheus, The Matrix

From Result-Oriented Thinking to Process-Oriented Thinking

Waking up from a blissful slumber can be one of the most confusing and disorienting experiences, and many are waking up cranky. The realisation of the emptiness of money, fame, power, and futile attempts to find “happiness” are the first greetings. Then, suddenly seeing through the lies and illusions of society can feel overwhelming. However, it is only when we begin to question our old beliefs, habits, and social conditioning, that we see there is much more to life than what we have been taught. At a fundamental level, we have been programmed to believe that we need to find the easiest way to do everything. Simply put, that needs to change. While there is a time and a place to take the easiest, most comfortable, and most convenient route, that’s not the existence we were created for.

A life in which our best hours are spent fighting traffic, pressing buttons and printing documents does not even begin to scratch where we itch. If we want to be more than we’ve been, we must make changes. And it starts with our minds. We must think about the world differently. Instead of framing everything with a view to getting a certain result, we must think about the process we’re going to use. This mindset allows us to consider what skills we want and need. We can achieve almost any result we want with not much effort or ability. This means that if our focus is on obtaining a specific result, we’ll never become much more than we are today. We are much more muchier than that!  For example, if we focus only on the end goal of getting food to eat, we’ll just head to a restaurant or order in. But if we focus on the process of getting that food and the skills we want to acquire, then we may look at learning to raise animals and grow vegetables. Both of these skills get us off the sidelines of life and into the game, growing and expanding along the way.

Rather than focusing on the result, think instead about the person you wish to become. What does that person look like? What can you do? What kind of relationships do you have? How do you feel? What do you know? Then reverse engineer that life. Build the body that person would have. Acquire the knowledge and skills of future you. Develop the relationships you would have. Boss up and become that person. Unless we choose to live life intentionally, it will never happen. Society will push us down the stream of convenience.

“As you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment.”

— Joseph Murphy

3 Steps to Rewiring your Subconscious Mind

Your beliefs set you up for success or failure. If your worldview is optimistic, you will generally be self-motivated with a positive attitude and engage life with joy and enthusiasm. However, if your worldview tends to lean toward pessimism and negative interpretations of reality, then a sense of hopelessness and despair will overshadow your every encounter. People suffer from pain and confusion due to a belief in their own sense of powerlessness, a belief that is as ancient as the whisperings of time. Yet, it’s onlt a thought and a thought can be changed.

Your encounters in the outer world are a reflection of your inner reality: you become what you think about. When you change your narrative, you change your life.  Your beliefs establish the instructions for how you want to operate your biological being. Humanity is being tested to become much more consciously aware of how to use the power of thought. You are born with a multitude of abilities, yet your cultivated beliefs insist you are powerless. Therefore, these abilities are blocked out or erased from neural pathways at an early age. The key to solving breaking out of the Matrix and becoming personally sovereign, lies in the compassionate recognition that humanity has essentially developed a collective fear of the power to create. These times call for you to know your mind and your beliefs so you can take back your power and become the extraordinary creator of your reality.

See the pattern

Awareness is always the first step. To see means that you bring to your conscious mind that which was previously subconscious. For instance, use the power of your awareness to see the thought “I am poor” or “I am unworthy”.

Refocus your attention

Once the subconscious thought sees the light of your awareness, you can now literally rewire it. Divert your attention to what you want. Using the “I am poor” example, focus not on the thought itself but on what you want. You plant a seed in your subconscious mind that is completely opposite to that thought. “I am abundantly wealthy in every way”. Look in the mirror and repeat it. Feel the truth of that statement in every cell of your body. Don’t just say those words or think them. The trick is to feel this truth with your entire being. You can see, smell, taste, and touch abundance. Every single time you focus your attention on this new seed, this new thought, you’re allowing it to sprout into your subconscious. The awareness of your conscious mind is like the sun shining on a seed.

Practice gratitude

If awareness is like the sunshine, gratitude is the water which is essential for your thought to sprout. Awareness and gratitude work together. Be grateful for what you have now. Be grateful for where you are now. It works like, well, magic!

“Society demands conformity at the expense of individual liberty. Let us be for once a non conformist to be fully alive.”

― Wayne W. Dyer

The Ultimate Showdown

If you’ve made it this far and you’re still clinging to the Old Normal, let’s keep it 100 – you’re in for a world of pain in the months and years ahead. We absolutely must realise right now that the game has already changed and that new paths are being forged as we speak. If we cannot open our focus up enough to catch the cataclysmic changes happening within ourselves, we are going to miss the opportunity of many lifetimes. You are Source Energy, and there is a trajectory of alignment. You can feel when you’re on that trajectory, and you can feel when you get off it.

We are here to open up to all of the possibilities this ride has to offer. The time is now to be the change. The Matrix control system was never going to come to an end without revealing itself for what it really is. What is done in the dark always comes to light. We cannot break out of the Matrix control system without first facing the reality of what is and consciously deciding to choose something else. We must stay firm in our inner truth to avoid slipping into conformity, dependence, fear, group-thinking, and herd stupidity. This is the ultimate showdown! You do not become good by trying to be good, but by finding the goodness that is already within you and allowing that goodness to emerge. It can only emerge if something fundamental changes in your state of consciousness.

So, will you leap? Once you have leapt, there’s no way back. It’s a one-time leap. It will define the rest of your life. You must absolutely commit. There can be no half-measures and no half-heartedness. It’s all or nothing. The leap must be a transformative event, alchemical, transmutative… just like Neo in The Matrix. He had to master the “Jump Program” and leap from one skyscraper to another across an impossibly wide gap. If you’re going to make that leap, if you’re going to succeed, you must be certain. Doubt is fatal. To leap or not to leap – that is the question. All choice is with you.

“The Age of Aquarius demands that we hold a worldview that none of us is separate from one another nor from the planet.”

― Andrew Lutts

20 Directions Toward a New Earth

Where we could once seek and find truth in our established collective history, media, and in the accounts of others, truth is now being revealed to us in our relationships. As true motives and colours are being revealed, we now know what we need to do in order to evolve and grow. What we do next will determine our future. How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours. Pay careful attention to how you are showing up in your relationships. What are seeing in the relationships in your life? Are you experiencing LOVE or are you frustrated? Is there easiness or maybe emptiness? Is there happiness and joy or do you feel repressed and bottled up? Do you feel a sense of expansion or a sense of contraction? Which of your relationships give you energy and which ones take away your energy? Is it freedom or control. Is it love or is it fear?

  1. Above all else, be direct and be honest. Be the one who says what has for too long gone unsaid.
  2. Love insanely. Let it all out into the open. You don’t have time to hold back any longer.
  3. Make your self strong: Physically strong. Emotionally strong. Mentally strong. Spiritually strong.
  4. Practice radical detachment and let go. We need to create space for the New Paradigm to emerge.
  5. Be patient and allow things to unfold naturally. Choose your direction without forcing anything.
  6. Express yourself. Be real. Be raw. Be open. Be your badass self.
  7. Let death be all the motivation you need to do anything you want to do. The clock is ticking.
  8. Don’t be surprised when things work out far better than you ever could have imagined.
  9. Give away as much freedom to others as you can stand, then give them a bit more. Let them have their silly mistakes and differing opinions.
  10. Do NOT allow your mind to take the wheel. Steer with your heart
  11. Make personal growth your prime directive and watch how quickly your life changes for the better.
  12. Be the person in the room who laughs and smiles the most. Show others how to brush off the madness of the world.
  13. Conserve your energy until it is time to move, then do so with maximum potency.
  14. Stay close to the things you can control and distance yourself from those things you cannot.
  15. Teach everything you have learned so far. Participate fully in the growth of others.
  16. Create connections, fix relationships, find common ground, build bridges, and be there for others.
  17. Learn to fiercely and curiously observe the world and the people around you.
  18. Give yourself permission to cry, to run, dance or whatever as needed in order to make sure you are a conduit for negative emotions, not a reservoir.
  19. Practice, Practice, Practice. Cultivate your inner peace daily and set your intentions for the life you want to live.
  20. Maintain the highest possible vibration you can. If you don’t feel fabulous, you have deviated from the path of who-you-truly-are.

“Give someone everything you can think of, the wings to fly and the roots to stay. If they chose none of these hold the door open for them with a smile”

― Mohadesa Najumi

The Power of Love

The heart has the most powerful electromagnetic field within the human energy field and there are more nerves going from the heart to the brain than going the other way. The latter is indicative of a sparkling truth that has been long forgotten – the brain is not the focus for intelligence within the body – the heart is. Love in its purest, most powerful form, is unconditional. Pure Love is to desire what is best for another, even if it is not what we wish to happen from our own standpoint. Love in its purest form can step back emotionally and allow someone to go through a negative experience, rather than protect them from a learning opportunity that will speed their understanding of life and themselves. The greatest love anyone can have for another is to let them go, if that is what is best for them, on their journey of evolution through experience.

So here we are, learning that ultimately, in spite of all we’ve been taught, we are in charge. We are responsible. We are powerful. We are free. We create our reality around us through our thoughts, feelings, emotions and expectations. Passion is a feeling that tells you: this is the right thing to do. Nothing can stand in my way. It doesn’t matter what anyone else says. This feeling is so good that it cannot be ignored. I’m going to follow my bliss and act upon this glorious sensation of joy. So, what is it that you are creating?

“A pure heart faces the worst kind of evil in this world. But as it sleeps it’s blessed, and it wakes up cleansed and a little bit stronger.”
